We went to Lamanai, just south of Orange Walk via pickup truck down a bumpy road. We passed through the Mennonite community of Shipyard- what a sight! K and I climbed to the highest temple above the canopy line- see the picture? We are those tiny dots! The jungle is preserved beautifully.
