This morning after writing in our journals we went straight to the pool. It was cold! The hot tub was also cold but the staff turned it on for us and the girls enjoyed it tepid for awhile. Then we walked down to Mercado 23 for some fruit and torta sandwiches. K was not impressed with the ham and cheese, however. I think she's missing home. We found fresas -strawberries- and fresh coconut water.
We saw shops with beautiful dresses and a Modelerama in our colors! We stopped by the supermarket for PB&J for Kas. She was so happy, until the jelly smashed onto the tile floor. Bummer.
We are trying to soak up all the warm weather we possibly can before the 'ice dunk' as B calls it so we watched the sunset from the fourth floor sundeck then played family games at the picnic tables 'til dark.
We made guacamole for dinner with supplies we'd picked up at the market along with Panela cheese, my favorite, and watched spanish music videos on TV.
One more day left! Eek!
